Arboriculture Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Groundsman to join our Arboriculture team at Totally Local Company. As a Groundsman, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's high standards of Arboriculture, Grounds, and Horticultural Maintenance Operations.

• Undertake a range of duties within the company, including Arboriculture, Grounds, and Horticultural Maintenance Operations, to contribute to the achievement of key objectives.
• Carry out Tree Surgery services to a high standard, in accordance with agreed procedures and defined standards.
• Assist with Grounds maintenance and horticultural duties in various areas, including parks, green spaces, and highway verges.
• Operate ground-based chainsaws, woodchippers, and other equipment necessary to complete tasks.
• Ensure effective collaborative working and maintain a clean, hazard-free work site.
• Be responsible for daily vehicle checks and routine cleaning/defect reporting for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for staff, customers, and members of the public.
• Further develop arboricultural knowledge and progress into climbing skills.
