Arcas Technology Ltd is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, network administration, and technical support. They will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, covering servers, storage systems, and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networks.
  • Oversee and support the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and redundancy across various locations.
  • Provide in-person technical assistance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Deliver 3rd line support, handling escalated issues from the service desk.
  • Lead or assist in planning and executing IT projects.
  • Keep detailed records of systems, configurations, and processes, ensuring all documentation adheres to industry standards and regulations.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Networking Expertise: Extensive knowledge of network protocols with experience configuring and managing LAN, Wi-Fi, and WAN systems.
  • Familiarity with HPE Aruba networking is essential.
  • Firewall Management: Hands-on experience with firewall administration, with FortiGate being preferred.
  • Microsoft Infrastructure: Strong expertise in managing Microsoft platforms, including Windows Server, Office 365, and Entra administration.
  • Virtualization & Hardware: Solid understanding of Hyper-V, as well as HPE server hardware and storage systems.
  • Apple Devices: Competency in managing MacOS and iOS devices.
  • ITIL & Service Management: Familiarity with the ITIL framework and best practices for service management.
