About the Role
Willmott Dixon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environment (SHE) Manager to join our central SHE team. The successful candidate will provide support within our South region, covering project sites across West Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, advise, support, enforce, and report on standards of health, safety, and environment, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
- Ensure our sites stay up-to-date with current legislation and group policies, effectively communicating these to all stakeholders.
- Identify new and innovative ways to improve Health, Safety, and Environment performance, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation.
- Provide leadership and support to staff and supply chain on all SHE matters.
- Respond to accidents and incidents within appropriate timescales, ensuring internal and statutory notifications are in place.
- Promote and encourage excellent standards and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental management within our business.
Requirements
- Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction certificate)
- CSCS Card
- FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal
- IOSH affiliated member
- Valid Driving licence
- Maintaining good standards of HS&E on construction and housing projects.
- Working on a wide range of construction methods and trades from groundwork's to internal fit-out and finishing trades.
- Reviewing new products and standards and making recommendations for implementation.
