About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our employees and clients, as well as maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess health and safety practices
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety matters
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement risk management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
  • Member of IOSH
  • Good knowledge of H & S Legislation
  • Previous experience in a construction health and safety position
