About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Boots, a leading healthcare company. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality phlebotomy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and verify their details
  • Explain the phlebotomy procedure to patients
  • Perform venous blood samples according to UK guidelines
  • Maintain quality of service delivery by following Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure samples are prepared for delivery to the correct laboratory within required timescales
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Phlebotomist is desirable
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Empathetic and able to interact sensitively with patients
  • Digitally savvy and comfortable with embracing technology
  • A passion for customer care and working in Healthcare
