We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Boots, a leading healthcare company. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality phlebotomy services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and verify their details
- Explain the phlebotomy procedure to patients
- Perform venous blood samples according to UK guidelines
- Maintain quality of service delivery by following Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure samples are prepared for delivery to the correct laboratory within required timescales
- Previous experience working as a Phlebotomist is desirable
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Empathetic and able to interact sensitively with patients
- Digitally savvy and comfortable with embracing technology
- A passion for customer care and working in Healthcare
