Job Title: M&E Project Manager

Company Overview: A leading M&E Contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead their expanding team in the London and Home Counties area. The company delivers refurbishment and fit out projects across various sectors, including commercial offices, hospitals, schools, laboratories, retail, and high-end residential buildings.

Salary: Up to 70k per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description: As the M&E Project Manager, you will oversee M&E projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed according to schedule and budget. You will be responsible for effective planning to guarantee profitable project outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing all M&E building services and working practices, ensuring compliance with HSE policies.
- Managing materials, subcontractors, installation, procurement, and drawing programmes to align with installation and specification requirements.
- Managing a detailed M&E building services programme to match main contractors' programmes.
- Tracking project progress and schedules.
- Representing M&E interests in site meetings.
- Financial management of projects, including financial forecasting and labour forecasting.
- Building strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensuring smooth M&E handovers to clients and providing aftercare support.

Required Skills and Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess:

- Valid CSCS Card and SMSTS.
- Time-served apprenticeship or relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications.
- Experience working on M&E projects with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Management experience of projects valued up to £2M, particularly education projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their installation methods.
- Consistently good financial returns on projects, considering factors such as costs and client satisfaction.
- Strong people management and motivational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Effective planning, coordination, and prioritization skills.
