Cleaning Operations Manager

Pareto Facilities Management is seeking a highly skilled Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of cleaning services in the North of England area.
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of support services on client sites, including:
- Providing holiday and sickness cover for allocated contracts;
- Keeping clients informed of any holiday or sickness absence and reassuring them that their contract will be fulfilled;
- Managing the HR process, including recruitment, leavers, and payroll arbitration;
- Ensuring staff on site have necessary equipment, uniform, and consumables to carry out their duties;
- Scheduling planned maintenance tasks according to client mandates and arranging sub-contractors as required;
- Receiving client POs for consumables/works to be undertaken;
- Raising purchase orders via the WebExpenses system;
- Ensuring works/consumables for invoicing are added to the monthly recharge spreadsheet for invoicing on the 19th of the month;
- Conducting monthly audits on each site and providing copies of the audit to the client, along with feedback to operatives on site;
- Chasing payment of invoices and managing aged debt;
- Maintaining an up-to-date site Bible folder, including RAMS, SSOW, COSHH sheets, etc.;
- Carrying out Health and Safety on site, including delivery of toolbox talks and online training;
- Reporting any accidents, incidents, or near misses according to Pareto procedures;
- Mobilising new contracts on site, including TUPE consultations with incoming teams;
- Advising the Regional Account Manager of any portable appliance testing required;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- IOSH certification as a minimum;
- Awareness/knowledge of Health & Safety issues;
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office;
- Experience within soft services, ideally cleaning, including specialist cleaning;
- Previous account management experience.
