We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Rugeley. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts and administration, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Process sales and purchase invoices, as well as deal with accounts queries.
- Process payments and receipts, create invoices, and file documents.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers, and allocate cash.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and keep notes.
- Liaise with staff in other departments and external contacts to investigate and resolve issues.
- Process sales invoicing and credit notes on Sage 50 and client portals.
- Credit control and process monthly rebates, and carry out credit checks on potential new customers and set credit limits.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts and administration.
- Good knowledge of the finance function, including sales and purchase ledger, and experience with Sage and MS Excel.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a small team and multitask under pressure.
