Financial Transaction Processor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Payment Co-ordinator to join our team.
Duties:- The co-ordinator will be responsible for posting supplier invoices and staff expense claims to the ledgers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- They will manage two weekly payment runs, guaranteeing on-time payments within due dates and correct amounts.
- Suppliers' statements will be reconciled, and discrepancies or queries addressed.
- Internal and external queries will be identified and resolved promptly.
- New supplier accounts will be created, verifying information and entering it correctly onto the system.
- Telephone calls from suppliers will be responded to.
- Manual payments will be processed outside of the usual BACS process, allocating them to relevant invoices.
- The co-ordinator will share responsibility for managing the AP mailbox.
- High-volume AP experience is necessary.
- Accountancy qualifications are not necessary but are preferred.
- Strong time management skills are required.
- Candidates must be able to multitask, work under pressure, and use initiative.
- Meticulous attention to detail is necessary.
- Ability to meet deadlines is crucial.
- Proficient IT skills with a willingness to learn are essential.
