Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Parent Infant Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with infants and their parents/carers from pregnancy up to 3 years of age, providing high-quality care and support to families in Wigan.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of families with complex mental health and social care needs, providing specialist assessments, facilitating drop-ins, and co-delivering groups.
  • Develop and implement integrated care plans, ensuring active involvement of parents and infants, and providing reports and communication in a skilled and sensitive manner.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, attending complex case discussions, and participating in clinical and managerial supervision.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions, ensuring the best possible outcomes for families.
