The role involves preparing applications for planning permissions, implementing planning strategies, and providing high-quality advice and reports. You'll work closely with colleagues and clients to deliver projects and develop client relationships.

  • Prepare and submit planning applications, supporting documents, and reports.
  • Develop and implement planning strategies to meet client needs.
  • Deliver evidence base studies and site appraisals to inform planning decisions.
  • Negotiate planning submissions with local authorities and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Chartered membership of RTPI and a degree or postgraduate qualification in Town and Country Planning.
  • Relevant experience working in consultancy, local authorities, or similar environments.
  • Sound knowledge of planning law and procedures, commercial awareness, and budget management.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including 25 days' annual leave, flexible working arrangements, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
