The AICS Group specializes in delivering community-based rehabilitation and support services to clients with diverse needs, including brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, learning disabilities, complex behaviors, live-in support, and social and personal needs.

As a dedicated Female Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with our client, a 6-year-old male child, located in Slough, providing support with their rehabilitation goals.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year's experience in health and social care, with a basic understanding of developmental delay and cognitive impairment.

About the Role

Monday to Friday - 08:00 am to 12:00 pm and 15:00 pm to 21:00 pm shift patterns are required for our client. You will be working closely with healthcare professionals to provide person-centered care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support with daily living tasks, medication administration, and manual handling
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participating in person-centered training to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in health and social care
  • Basic understanding of developmental delay and cognitive impairment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work in the client's home
  • Ability to liaise with healthcare professionals daily
  • Person-centered approach
  • Experience in medication administration, personal care, and manual handling
  • Willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Ability to think outside the box

Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Flexible working days, full-time or part-time job roles, competitive pay rates, mandatory training, and opportunities for career development.
