Academic Operations Coordinator

At A For Appointments, we're seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Sheffield office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to utilize their administrative skills, supporting our Chief Executive Officer in ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Oversight: Ensure a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency in the office.
- Supply Chain Management: Manage office supplies and inventory, ordering and restocking as necessary to meet the needs of the office.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Correspondence and Communication: Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and phone calls, to maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Support Services: Provide a welcoming and friendly reception service, receiving deliveries to the site and supporting individual departments through the purchase and ordering process.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain office equipment, coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary to ensure minimal disruption to office operations.
- Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity throughout the business.
- Qualifications: Five years of previous experience as an office/administrative assistant, executive assistant, or similar role.
- Pension Scheme: Employers pension contributions of 5% to accompany a 3% employees contribution.
- Holiday Entitlement: 25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays.
