About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the sewage treatment industry or a similar engineering role. You will be comfortable using mobile phone apps to communicate with sites and have the ability to fault find in demanding environments.

You will be responsible for servicing and responding to call-outs on sewage treatment plants, sewage pumps, and wastewater systems. This will include handling both electrical and mechanical systems, liaising with scheduling teams and line managers, and recording quoted work in line with policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Responding to call-outs on sewage treatment plants, sewage pumps, and wastewater systems.
  • Fault finding and resolving issues in a range of environments.
  • Liaising with scheduling teams and line managers to report progress and discuss any issues.
  • Recording quoted work in line with company policy.

Requirements

  • Experience working in the sewage treatment industry or a similar engineering role.
  • Ability to fault find in demanding environments.
  • Comfortable using mobile phone apps to communicate with sites.
  • Hold qualifications in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.
  • 17th, 18th, or 19th edition electrical qualifications (desirable).
  • CSCS card (desirable).
  • Full UK driving license.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer overtime paid at time and a half, paid door-to-door travel, and a range of benefits including a pension scheme and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
