LAW Absolute, a local authority based in South London, is seeking a temporary Housing Litigation Legal Assistant for an initial period of 3 months. The role offers a competitive day rate.

The successful candidate will need to carry a caseload of matters including disrepair, ASB, homelessness, and possession proceedings. They will also be required to undertake administrative tasks, support lawyers in the team, collate and update spreadsheets, and provide a support function to the department.

This is a temporary role available immediately. Candidates must have previous housing litigation experience, ideally gained in the public sector. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on short notice. This is not an entry-level role, and therefore previous experience in this area of law is essential.

We pay our contractors a competitive rate of £160.97 PAYE or £201.34 umbrella per day.
