About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a student with Autism or SEMH challenges in a mainstream primary school in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to ensure the student receives the best possible education and support. This is an ideal opportunity for graduates or individuals with experience working with children in schools, sports, childcare or other settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the student in class and during activities
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Communicating effectively with teachers, parents and carers
  • Maintaining accurate records of the student's progress

What We Offer:

  • A competitive daily rate of £90-£100 (dependent on experience, training and qualifications)
  • A long-term temporary contract with potential for a permanent role

Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary, but preferred
  • Able to commit to full-time hours, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
