About Our Job

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our small, supportive team in Sigma Recruitment. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our production operations, ensuring equipment and information are readily available to meet demands.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver swift and effective solutions to minimise plant and equipment downtime.
  2. Modify and upgrade existing equipment to improve performance and efficiency.
  3. Support project design and installations as required.
  4. Provide rapid response to breakdowns to maintain operational continuity.
  5. Carry out planned maintenance schedules, ensuring all tasks are logged and completed as per plan.
  6. Improve maintenance practices by reviewing and refining the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme.
  7. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
  8. Promote and ensure a safe working environment for all employees, championing health and safety best practices.
  9. Proactively identify and address faulty processes, implementing long-term solutions to enhance reliability.
  10. Collaborate with the production team to prioritise maintenance activities effectively.
  11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production support and efficiency.
  12. Provide coverage for the Maintenance Manager as needed.
