About the Role
As a Group Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Group Finance Director with financial reporting and compliance. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality statutory audits, interim reports, and other financial statements across the UK and globally.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial reporting skills, including experience with IFRS, and be able to drive change and improve financial controls across the Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with commercial teams, tax, treasury, and company secretarial, and build strong relationships throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the wider Group Financial reporting team on the delivery of statutory audits, interim, and other reporting requirements at both the Group and subsidiary levels.
• Investigate and present conclusions on technical matters, including one-off queries, papers for the audit process, and accounting papers throughout the year.
• Develop a project plan and use tools to monitor each cycle from planning to delivery.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant - Newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) - ideal for a first-time mover from practice.
  • Understanding the principles of accounting and auditing, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
  • An individual who is keen to build strong networks.
