Join RSK Group as a highly skilled Flow and Metering Expert to play a central role in the technical delivery of a wide variety of projects centered around the applications of metering technologies in the water sector.

About the Role:

  • Develop and direct research projects relating to flow and metering, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Lead testing and evaluation programmes for new technologies, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Support the growth of our meter testing capability, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and translate these into work proposals, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Provide technical leadership across a portfolio of projects, guiding teams and stakeholders to achieve exceptional results.
  • Contribute to wider consultancy projects, sharing your expertise to drive business growth and success.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a STEM discipline, preferably in engineering or applied physics, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of flow measurement techniques and/or flow theory, with a proven ability to apply this knowledge in practical settings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to define problems, collect and interpret data, and drive solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, to support effective communication and data analysis.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with smart meters / AMR / AMI technology, demonstrating a strong understanding of the latest developments in the field.
  • Experience in a water company, regulator, or meter manufacturer / supplier, showcasing a deep understanding of the water sector and its challenges.
