Job Title: Head of People and Transformation

Moxie People is partnering with a leading third sector organisation to find a seasoned professional to lead their people and digital transformation efforts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's cultural and digital framework, driving long-term sustainability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people and digital strategy, aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of 8, driving transformational and cultural changes, while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Liaise with unions on pay negotiations and employee relations, ensuring fair outcomes and maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Standardise processes and policies to enhance efficiency, support digital transformation, and promote data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive succession planning and talent development, identifying and nurturing future leaders.
  • Promote engagement with digital tools, data analysis, and metrics-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor transformation progress, managing risks, and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Ensure governance frameworks support change initiatives, working closely with finance and other teams.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all people strategies, promoting a culture of belonging and respect.
  • Boost employee engagement by addressing trends, measuring initiative outcomes, and implementing evidence-based solutions.
  • Ensure clear communication plans for transformation and company-wide initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Build external partnerships to stay responsive to industry changes, driving innovation and growth.

Person Specification:

  • Extensive HR expertise with senior leadership experience advising executives and decision-makers.
  • Proven track record in organisational design, cultural change, and digital transformation.
  • Strong ability to lead change, manage risks, engage stakeholders, and ensure leadership accountability.
  • Proficient in IT systems supporting business processes and data management, with experience driving system changes.
  • In-depth knowledge of data protection, GDPR compliance, and data governance.
  • Experienced in embedding EDI principles into organisational culture and strategy.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of presenting complex information to senior leadership and boards.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Resilient, enthusiastic, and passionate about driving change in people and digital services.
