Responsibilities:
  1. Create detailed electrical design documents, including drawings, calculations, reports, specifications, and schedules.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the testing and commissioning procedures for final installations.
  3. Effectively manage internal and external project timelines.
  4. Guarantee adherence to the company's Quality Assurance management systems.
  5. Maintain clear communication channels with internal and external design team members.
  6. Undertake non-disruptive surveys of existing installations to inform design choices.
  7. Establish spatial allowances for main plant areas.
  8. Actively participate in design team and project meetings, sharing valuable expertise.
  9. Collaborate with lead and/or support engineers to ensure discipline designs meet quality and program expectations.
  10. Strictly adhere to security procedures and commercial confidentiality restrictions.

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Possess a degree in Engineering or a higher qualification.
  2. Hold a minimum Engineering HNC/D or equivalent qualification.
  3. Candidates with relevant construction site-based experience accompanied by a recognized completed electrical apprenticeship may also be considered.
