Exciting Opportunity for a Dedicated Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a passionate and committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at GLG Vets in Somerton. This role offers a unique chance for individuals who are enthusiastic about delivering high-quality veterinary care and thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional veterinary care and treatment to a diverse range of animals.
  • Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, utilizing your expertise and skills to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, adhering to our clinic's high standards.
  • Collaborate with our dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient care.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the clinic during your shifts, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent) and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care is highly desirable, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine.
Shift Details and Benefits:

This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours per week over five days. We offer a competitive salary package of 30,000 per year, as well as a generous CPD allowance to support ongoing training and development.
