About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia to join our team at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work in a 1 in 8 EWTD compliant rota to provide anaesthetic cover in main theatres and support the on-call anaesthetic team when necessary.

The role will cover work at both sites, including The Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital. The post holder will be responsible for providing anaesthetic cover in main theatres, supporting the on-call anaesthetic team, and working in a 1 in 8 EWTD compliant rota.

Main Duties:

  • Provide anaesthetic cover in main theatres
  • Support the on-call anaesthetic team
  • Work in a 1 in 8 EWTD compliant rota

We are looking for a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and is committed to working in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of postgraduate training
  • Minimum 18 months of anaesthetic training in a recognised programme
  • Primary FRCA examination
  • FRCA or equivalent
  • Experience in obstetric anaesthesia at SpR level
  • At least 3 months ITU training

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Salary:

£37,068 to £57,570 a year, plus London Weighting £2,162.
