Talk is a leading media company in the UK, providing news and current affairs to millions of viewers and listeners. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality content, and we're looking for a skilled Multicam Operator to join our visual operations team.

The Role

As a Multicam Operator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality visual output for our live broadcasts. You will be working closely with our Visual Operations Manager to ensure that our visualisation is of the highest standard. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Vision mixing in a live broadcast environment
• Visual content creation and project management
• Correctly copying text onto screen graphics
• Liaising with the Visual News Producer/Editor and grabbing assets from folders
• Making sure presenters are framed correctly and constantly checking the output
• Becoming fully aware of all compliance issues including Ofcom and reporting restrictions
• Taking responsibility for making our visuals look next level
• Reporting technical issues through the appropriate channels
• Constantly checking for breaking news and stories
• Maintaining multicam's efficiency and making sure that servers are rebooted and storage regularly checked and cleared

• Used to working closely with presenters and knowing how to engage them
• Understanding of relevant compliance and legal issues
