Job Summary

Scania is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and maintenance for our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with vehicles
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and targets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification or proven technical experience
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances

Preferred Qualifications

  • LGV/HGV/PCV license an advantage
  • Bus and coach experience an advantage
  • IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential
