Job Summary:
ZipRecruiter is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of live sites and procuring multiple packages at various stages of the build.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze project programs of works
  2. Conduct monthly progress meetings with clients, site teams, and subcontractors
  3. Coordinate pre-start meetings with relevant subcontractors
  4. Prepare and send tender documentation to subcontractors
  5. Evaluate subcontractor tender packages and award contracts
  6. Value completed works and negotiate payments with clients
  7. Conduct regular cost control and reporting

Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Qualifications in a related field, such as HNC or above
* Experience working on schemes of similar value is desirable but not essential
