We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Character Artist to join our team at NaturalMotion. As a key member of our Art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, iconic characters for our competitive arena combat game, Star Wars: Hunters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with concept, animation, and technical art teams to create production-quality assets
  • Manage day-to-day character art-related tasks and provide additional support to the character team
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product to ensure consistent product vision
  • Participate in character production, tools, and pipeline development to ensure efficient team workflow and high-quality results
  • Run art-related meetings and provide critical feedback to peers
  • Pursue excellence in character art, both aesthetically and technically
Requirements
  • Experience in AAA-quality character art at a Senior/Principal level
  • Expert knowledge of character design, art, and culture
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing character creation in various styles
  • Attention to detail in UV mapping, textures, shaders, and LODs
  • Understanding of shape, structure, and silhouette in modeling
  • Optimization skills for models and textures
  • Proficiency in ZBrush, Max, Maya, Substance, and Photoshop
  • Experience working with external partners
  • Technical knowledge of current AAA character pipelines
  • Expertise in Unreal Engine
