Project Controls Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our Transport and Utilities business in the Southwest region. As a key member of our Integrated Project Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in Project Controls Management to work on low-complexity, low-risk projects. You will be responsible for leading a cross-discipline team, communicating project performance to stakeholders, and defining project scope through exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies.

The ideal candidate will have professional Project Controls experience in one or more sectors, including Planning and Scheduling, Cost Estimation, Cost Management, Risk Management, or Reporting. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

A salary of approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this position. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and flexible working arrangements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-discipline team to manage project controls.
  • Communicate project performance to stakeholders.
  • Define project scope through exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies.
  • Work with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust Performance Measurement Baseline and manage change control.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to integrate and analyse their performance data.
  • Analyse performance data to provide delivery insight and facilitate delivery decisions.
