We supply all the UK's food retailers with a variety of products, generating revenues of £1 billion.

Our direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network enables over 10,400 daily deliveries of our chilled and frozen produce. As a QA Auditor, you will work 4 on 4 off rotating shifts, with Days one week and Nights the following week. Your key focus will be to assist in the production of safe food that meets customer specifications and legal requirements through regular auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sample, test, audit, and monitor processes, procedures, and products to ensure compliance.
  • Complete documentation accurately for internal and external audits, highlighting non-conformance that requires corrective action.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the team and relevant functions regarding quality assurance results.
  • Collect relevant samples (products, swabs, water samples) following procedures to ensure quality, safety, and legality.
  • Ensure a safe working environment that meets safety, health, and environment policy standards.

Requirements:

  • Confidence to challenge non-compliant practices in a busy factory environment.
  • Food hygiene - Level 2.
  • Health and Safety - Level 2.
  • Ideally HACCP Level 2 trained.
  • Allergen Awareness Training.
  • Previous auditing experience.
  • Microbiological awareness - understanding of food safety basics.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.
