Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create robust, reusable, and scalable test strategies.
  • Develop detailed test artefacts such as test plans, test specifications, automated tests, defect tickets, and reports.
  • Manage test environments, devices, define consistent test data, and create reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute tests using latest UI/Mobile test automation technologies, processes, and tools.
  • Work with architects to ensure solutions adhere to their principles and direction.
  • Lead, mentor, up-skill, and inspire other automation engineers.

About You

We're looking for hardworking, innovative, and creative individuals to join our Digital Engineering team. If you have practical experience of engineering best practices and are obsessed with continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

Your expertise in software development, particularly in Cucumber/Ruby, Robot, WebDriver, Selenium, REST/SOAP-based APIs, and web services, will be invaluable. Experience with cloud service testing frameworks like Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, Appium, Calabash, TestCloud, or similar tools is also essential.

Additionally, your understanding of web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST, and JSON, as well as familiarity with CI/CD tools like Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, Stash, SonarQube, and Performance Centre, will enable you to deliver high-quality work efficiently.

Estimated salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
