About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials & Process Engineer to join our team at Ontic. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our materials and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and suppliers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure Ontic remains competitive.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in a Materials & Processes role, preferably with NPI/R&D and legacy programs.
- Expertise in writing and approving technical materials reports and process specifications.
- Detailed understanding of NADCAP and extensive knowledge of REACH implementation.
- Experience in auditing suppliers of materials and special processes for approval purposes.
- Natural leadership capability, either through a formal managerial or supervisory role or informally through a senior position.
