Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Senior Community Fundraiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering community fundraising strategies, focusing on schools, groups, and challenge events across a six-county region.

About the Role:

The Senior Community Fundraiser will play a key part in nurturing long-term relationships with supporters, ensuring excellent stewardship, and helping to create a meaningful impact. We are looking for an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record in community fundraising, who can manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines, and inspire and motivate supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy for community fundraising with a focus on schools, groups, and challenge events.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive growth and deliver effective fundraising activities across the region.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with fundraisers, providing ongoing support to maximise their contributions.
  • Work with colleagues across departments to identify and capitalise on opportunities for engagement.
  • Monitor progress towards income targets, contributing to the broader fundraising strategy.
  • Act as an ambassador for community fundraising and raise awareness of the charity's work.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in community fundraising within a charity or not-for-profit organisation.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies that deliver results.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience engaging a wide range of supporters.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for making a difference in healthcare.
