Job Title: HGV Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team at Virtual Hub. As a key member of our Workshop Team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our diverse fleet in accordance with relevant legislation and manufacturer's instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, service, and inspect a fleet of HGV, non-HGV, and specialist vehicles, including heavy and light plant, in accordance with legislation and manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Work with advanced electronic diagnostic systems to diagnose and repair complex faults in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all paperwork, as required by legislation, is completed compliantly and correctly signed off.
  • Undergo manufacturer's training on vehicles and equipment to stay up-to-date with fast-moving technologies and legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle and machinery repairs, as requested.
  • Carry out work independently to maintain a quality of service and ensure all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualified mechanic with a background in a busy workshop environment.
  • Ability to learn about new technologies and adapt to changing legislation and manufacturer's instructions.
