About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. As a clinical audiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality adult audiology services to the people of Croydon.

Job Description

This is a part-time Band 5 vacancy for an Audiologist/Senior Audiologist within the Acute Audiology Section of our trust. The successful candidate will have either a BSc or MSc in Audiology, the PTP in Audiology, or BTEC MPPM and BAAT part 1 & 2.

Main Duties
  • To assist in the day-to-day running of the Audiology Service, including undertaking simple and more complex test procedures with or without supervision as appropriate.
  • To fit and evaluate hearing aids, including digital hearing aids, by utilising the Modernisation of Hearing Aid Services (MHAS).
  • To liaise closely with other specialist clinical, technical, therapy, medical, and nursing staff to ensure the best possible standard of patient care.
Requirements
  • A minimum of [£26,000 - £32,000] per annum salary, depending on experience.
  • A strong background in general audiology, including up-to-date knowledge of advances and changes in the field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to troubleshoot diplomatically and work independently.
