Job Title: Risk Lead

We are a global company with a strong presence in the UK Business Processing outsourcing market (BPO). As we continue to expand, we need a Risk Lead to support our business leaders in ensuring the integrity of our operations.

The Risk Lead will report to the UK, Africa & Ireland Risk Assurance Manager and provide effective 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) oversight across multiple sites within our operation. This role is based in our Gateshead site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, assess, control, track, and report on all risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement key process controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support, educate, and guide the business on all elements of risk.
  • Produce management information for governance.
  • Ensure all risks and issues are captured in the corporate risk register.
  • Assist with incident management.
  • Undertake key controls testing and audits.
  • Provide support to the Security and Privacy teams.
  • Attend client review meetings.
  • Participate in external and internal audits.
Requirements:
  • Evidence of a risk-based approach/mindset.
  • Minimum of 2 years risk experience.
  • Excellent English written and oral skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships while ensuring the integrity of the 2 LoD is not compromised.
  • Audit/Compliance Monitoring or Assurance experience.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced changing environments.
Desirable Skills:
  • IRM qualification.
  • Financial Crime experience.
  • Business Continuity experience.
  • Incident Management experience.
