About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead cross-functional teams and drive the successful implementation of cutting-edge automation solutions. You'll be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring seamless integration of automation technologies across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, IT, and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to select and implement automated solutions, such as robotics, conveyor systems, and automated storage and retrieval systems.
  • Maintain clear communication with senior management and key stakeholders, providing timely updates on project progress.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving process optimization and staying abreast of industry trends and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Level 6 qualification in engineering, with further certifications in project management (PRINCE2 or Agile) desirable but not essential.
  • Proven experience managing multiple automation projects within a warehousing environment.
  • Strong understanding of automation tools and technologies, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
