The Opportunity

Zenobē is seeking an experienced Network and Commissioning Engineer to join our Electric Vehicle division. As part of our Network and Commissioning team, you'll work closely with partners and internal departments to ensure successful technical asset deployment. You'll travel extensively across the UK to clients' locations, including bus depots and fleet operators.

A Day in Your Life

  • Attend sites around the UK for network-related tasks, such as troubleshooting, electrical compliance verification, cable testing, and software commissioning support for our remote team.
  • React and resolve operational issues, reporting them to the Ops management team or relevant departments.
  • Fault-find on local network infrastructure, covering copper and fiber.
  • Manage subcontractors installing various network equipment and maintenance.
  • Ensure structured cabling testing and commissioning meets our high standards.
  • Asset manage installed equipment and client assets.
  • Telematics equipment troubleshooting after receiving training.
  • Comply with and enforce company ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO27001 policies.
  • Assist with charger commissioning and software/firmware site support.
  • Deliver scripted training to customers operating EVC products.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician with experience in Network, Commercial, and Industrial electrical work.
  • Experience working on data networking infrastructure.
  • Certification in Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391-50) or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Electrical Studies (2365) or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Network Topology within Single Line Drawings.
  • Comfortable managing and working with third parties or contractors.
  • Valid clean full UK driving license.
