About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading provider of test and measurement solutions as an Assembly Engineer. This role involves working closely with the Production Team, reporting directly to the Production Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings and works orders, handling service and warranty requests, assembling and testing high-quality products using off-the-shelf components and custom parts from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established production processes and quality controls.
  • Assemble various electrical components, including control panels, cabinets, cable harnesses, and breakout boxes.
  • Work from technical drawings and provide feedback on potential errors or improvements.
  • Inspect assembled products to ensure quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report any issues to the line manager.
  • Contribute to the team's success by utilizing your skills and experience as needed.

The estimated salary for this role is £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
