Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Processing Specialist to join our Technical Services team at mbf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing a diverse range of insurance classes, supporting the development and maintenance of technical documentation and processes, and ensuring compliance with industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process insurance classes, including Binding Authority risk and premium bordereaux
  • Run accounting reports, reconcile, and liaise with the accounts department and other business units
  • Engage with new systems, including those within our company, associated companies, or the London (Re)Insurance Market
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation and processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry requirements, including the processing of claims on the Electronic Claim File (ECF) system

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within the Lloyd's Insurance Broking Market
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, with confident use of Excel spreadsheets
  • Knowledge and understanding of insurance and reinsurance technical processing
  • Education to 'A' level standard, with a minimum of GCSE grade 'B' in Maths and English Language
