Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dams and Reservoirs Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in the design and management of dams and reservoirs for critical UK infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
- Sound knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to the management and design of dams and reservoirs and their associated hydraulic structures.
Requirements:
- Strong technical expertise in dams and reservoir engineering.
- Proven experience in managing teams and delivering projects to high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes.
