With a focus on Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, they are known for their innovation, technical expertise, and customer-focused approach.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costs and ensuring the financial success of various M&E projects. They will also prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects and conduct risk, value management, and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for M&E projects.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective value management strategies.
  • Manage contracts, including financial administration and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure project costs remain within budget.
  • Provide regular financial progress reports and forecasts to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, specifically within the M&E sector.
  • Strong understanding of building services, mechanical and electrical systems, and cost control principles.
  • Experience managing contracts and working with NEC or JCT forms of contract.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum.
