We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our team at Environmental Essentials Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient service to clients, resulting in reliable asbestos survey data and reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of current issues and developments in the asbestos industry, as well as experience in surveying premises for asbestos on a variety of sectors/sites. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work under their own initiative, and have a flexible and reliable approach to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional and efficient service to clients, resulting in reliable asbestos survey data and reports.
  • Undertake technical activities associated with asbestos inspection and testing, whilst maintaining the best interests of the company, the client and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the company's standards when working on site, at client meetings or in the office.
  • Produce accurate and factual survey and sampling information, site plans and any other documentation relevant to asbestos inspection and testing activities undertaken.
  • Ensure adherence to the UKAS accredited management system and its policies and procedures.
  • Work safely and with consideration of all affected by the activities of the role.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of current issues and developments in the asbestos industry.
  • Experience in surveying premises for asbestos on a variety of sectors/sites.
  • BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) mandatory.
  • BOHS W504 (S301), CoCA desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under their own initiative.
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work.
