We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Burham WSW, Kent, where you will be responsible for overseeing all commissioning activities, ensuring work is undertaken safely in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, and good working practices.

About the Position:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high degree of autonomy, with a focus on delivering schemes in a safe compliant manner as per the Commissioning Engineers R&R's.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver schemes in a safe compliant manner as per the Commissioning Engineers R&R's.
  2. Monitor and review MEICA related Project risks to identify potential issues early on.
  3. Attend commissioning systems inductions and tool box talks to stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and best practices.
  4. Liaise with the Design team to incorporate plant commissioning requirements into design stage and scope of works.
  5. Review design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy, and telemetry requirements to ensure compliance.
  6. Develop Compliance & Commissioning Plans in conjunction with design intent to meet project objectives.
  7. Oversee and sign off FAT and SAT, and process witness tests to guarantee quality and safety.
  8. Contribute to the development of the initial Commissioning Programme to ensure timely completion.
  9. Attend Progress & Commissioning Meetings to discuss project progress and address any challenges.
  10. Compile commissioning documentation and deliverables to support project completion.
  11. Support Commissioning Strategy Reviews and Documentation to improve processes and outcomes.
  12. Liaise with sub-contractors regarding commissioning deliverables and interfaces to ensure seamless collaboration.
  13. Support Training Coordinators in compilation of training deliverables and engage in SW Training sessions to enhance team knowledge.
  14. Support O&M Coordinators in compilation and review of O&M Manuals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  15. Distribute Commissioning Log / Daily Diaries and other relevant information from Engineers to maintain transparency and communication.
  16. Assist in the preparation of take over reports to facilitate smooth handovers.
  17. Liaise with the complete scheme delivery team to ensure effective collaboration and project success.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £52,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. MWH Treatment offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and 25 days' annual leave.
