About the Role:

Apexon is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our expanding team in Sunderland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, maintainable code and supporting in the design and development of complex software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex software solutions
  • Partner effectively with client project teams
  • Produce high-quality, maintainable code

Requirements:

  • Good grounding in one of the following languages; Java, C#, Python or JavaScript
  • Ability to understand and explain software development concepts and fundamentals
  • Understanding of an Agile development environment
  • Natural self-motivation with a passion for delivering excellence
  • Great communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Curiosity with an ongoing desire to develop and learn
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • BSc in Computer Science

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, . Jenkins, Sonar and CI/CD principles
  • Experience with React/Angular frameworks
  • Financial Services and/or Software Consulting experience
