Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Fareham, with a salary of circa £50k.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to take on a challenging role in a fast-paced environment, working with a complex range of funds, management companies, and associated fund structures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Accounting for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation, and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad hoc investor queries.
  • Completing all aspects of accounting matters, including routine audit queries, periodic bank reconciliations, and providing supporting documentation.
  • Acting as a mentor to others in the team.

About the role:

We are looking for a qualified candidate with ACA or ACCA qualifications, either from professional practice or a commercial business, with experience in financial accounting and statutory financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have strong IT, team playing, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
