Sterling Cross is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a School Nurse in a leading independent school. As a key member of the pastoral care team, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and support to students, staff, and visitors, under the direction of the Group Lead Nurse.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement health promotion programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct health assessments, provide health education, and offer guidance on health-related issues.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the health and wellbeing of students.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student health and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • NMC registration as a General Nurse (RN Adult) or Children's Nurse (RN Child)
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience
  • Previous paediatric nursing experience (desirable)
  • Previous professional experience as a School Nurse, Practice Nurse, or Health Visitor (desirable)
