Exciting Maths Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths teacher to join our thriving team at a school in Durham. As a Maths teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4 students of varying abilities, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and contributing to a collaborative team working towards student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Maths to KS3 and KS4 students, tailoring lessons to individual learning needs
  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet the Maths curriculum requirements
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to a supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve student success
Requirements:
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong understanding of the Maths curriculum and ability to teach a range of levels
  • Effective classroom management skills to create an engaging learning environment
  • Child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Two professional references from recent employment
