Procurement Specialist

We are a renowned international defence company looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our advanced manufacturing facility in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. This role offers a 4-day working week (Monday - Thursday) and hybrid working with typically 2 days a week onsite.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier delivery to support programmes and business requirements. They will also negotiate and manage procurements, ranging from simple to complex subcontracts.

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to meet business objectives.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders to meet their expectations.

Proven experience in procurement or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
