Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating a varied and nutritional menu that meets the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a menu that is both delicious and nutritious, taking into account the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Train and manage the kitchen team in prepping, cooking, and serving food, ensuring that high standards are maintained at all times.
  • Manage all mandatory paperwork, including adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, and managing orders and deliveries.
  • Cater for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties, and birthdays, as required.

Requirements

  • A passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates.
  • Able to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal and make our residents feel at home.
  • Open to new ideas and have an innovative approach to cooking while always adhering to high standards.
  • Enjoy communicating with others and cherish the little moments with our residents, sharing your love of food with them.
