Job Description

As a Development Intern, you will be assisting the development team and learning about the process of bringing scripted drama from initial idea to greenlight.

The role involves managing submissions of materials, compiling project-specific research, reading and reporting on books and scripts, and completing rights checks.

You will provide valuable support with the day-to-day admin of the team, including updating databases, managing development-related purchases, creating and distributing weekly alerts and memos, and providing cover for the Development Assistant when they are away.

Occasional front-of-house duties may also be required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a passion for Broadcasting and Media, particularly an interest in film/TV drama, and a desire to develop a career as a TV drama producer or working with writers in script development.

You will need attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritise.

It is also essential that you can work with confidential materials discreetly and responsibly.

Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills are also required.

A confident user of Microsoft Office is essential.
